This explains the last company I worked for perfectly…

Many people had asked me many questions about my last employer, and I cannot discuss it due to being “required” to sign a “Non-Disparagement Agreement” in order to obtain my final paycheck & vacation pay.

So, for those of you who are wondering… Dilbert sums it all up.  Remember, I didn’t say that, Scott Adams did…

Skydog, LadyMerlin, Stef, everyone, GREAT JOB!

There were over 100 people that attended, as far as I know, and it was a great social event, Acidus’ talk scared me to death (again), and I simply enjoyed “attending” a con, instead of working one… All of the talks were of very good to awesome quality.

I’ll be there next year, and suggest that you look at it too!

Driving home today in Atlanta, the Jeep was low on fuel, with the Distance-to-Empty calculator showing less miles than I had to get home. I was frustrated by a busy day at work and some news that disturbed me during the day. I had also skipped lunch. (I later found out how bad of a mistake that was…I needed food…)

I noted that everyone that was driving seemed to be in slow motion. Braking early, slow to move forward, and in general, simply driving me insane.

One of the things that I noticed immediately, is that no one seemed to care at all about anyone around them. I felt VERY alone in the world at that moment. How could it be that in a sea of people in automobiles, it seemed that no one cared about anything except their “spot” on the road. You couldn’t change lanes, make a turn, or even stop in traffic with anyone caring or giving any quarter.

I don’t know why I care today, but it seems to be the final aggravation for me…
