This explains the last company I worked for perfectly…

Many people had asked me many questions about my last employer, and I cannot discuss it due to being “required” to sign a “Non-Disparagement Agreement” in order to obtain my final paycheck & vacation pay.

So, for those of you who are wondering… Dilbert sums it all up.  Remember, I didn’t say that, Scott Adams did…

It’s been two weeks since I’ve had a weekend to “decompress”, and what a long, painful, arduous and tiring two weeks it’s been.  I will try my absolute best NOT to do that again any time soon.  I did not realize how much energy that not having “down-time” strips from you.  I have spent the last two days doing absolutely nothing, sleeping in, and being a general “bump-on-a-log”.  Of course, this hasn’t gone over well with the better half, but she is understanding of my exhaustion.

The week terminated with a refreshing freedom, we have removed some obstacles to delivery in our workplace, and are moving forward with the cleanup of old problems.  It’s nice to be able to get over that hump, as it’s depressing and moral sapping.  Now the rest of the team can focus on their roles instead of worrying about the failures of other people.

I’m looking forward to the next few weeks at work, finalizing this month and moving on to the next new challenges.  I just hope I’ve slept enough, as I know there’s going to be some hard work ahead.
